Posthumanismus trifft Praxis ETERNAL DAWN ist ein Labor für Bio-Modifikation – für die verbesserten und veränderten Körper der Zukunft in einer unüberwachten Evolution. Das Mission-Statement: Kein Körper ist jemals endgültig, die Menschen sind fluide, die Erweiterung ihrer Körper durch angeeignete Teile ist die Schnittstelle zur Welt, und der menschliche Körper keine Top-down-Entität, sondern das Zusammenspiel souveräner Teile. Der technologische Ausgangspunkt eröffnet Fragen nach Menschlichkeit, Kontrolle, Handlungsmacht, Selbst- und Körperbildern. ETERNAL DAWN ist ein großformatiges, installatives Musiktheaterprojekt, mit dem der in Hamburg lebende Komponist und Decoder Ensemble-Mitgründer Alexander Schubert seine Auseinandersetzung mit Musik, Technologie und Transhumanismus fortsetzt – zuletzt war 2022 ANIMA™ auf Kampnagel zu sehen. Als Kampnagel-Koproduktion feiert ETERNAL DAWN nach der Uraufführung beim Festival Musica in Straßburg nun in Hamburg Deutschlandpremiere.
