„UNRUND“ - BAROCKPROJEKT

Vor ihren großen Abschlussinszenierungen bekommen die jungen Regisseure der Musiktheater-Regie schon während des Studiums die Möglichkeit, ihre Arbeit einem interessierten und begeisterten Publikum zu präsentieren. Nach dem großen Erfolg der Studienprojekte „Trouble in Tahiti“/„Bastien und Bastienne“ 2010 und dem Uraufführungs-Doppel „Metamorphosen“ im April 2011 feiert nun am 29. März 2012 der Barockabend „UNRUND“ mit Opern von Christoph Willibald Gluck („Le Cinesi“ sowie Szenen aus „Orpheus und Euyridice“) und Henry Purcell („Dido and Aeneas“) Premiere im Forum. „UNRUND“ als freie Übersetzung der Epochenbezeichnung „Barock“ gibt das Thema dieses Dreier-Abends vor: Werke, die in jene Epoche fallen, aber gleichzeitig in ihrer Formensprache und Struktur über sie hinauswachsen. Opern voller Widersprüche und Unebenheiten, die das Theater immer noch und immer wieder herausfordern, das Spektrum seiner Möglichkeiten zu erforschen.
