Jazzstandards – mal traditionell, mal modern, immer aber auf eine ganz eigene Weise interpretiert, dass kennzeichnet den Klangkosmos der Cansu Arat Group. Das Quintett, das neben der Namensgeberin an den Vocals mit Hedwig Janko am Altsaxofon, Kirill Kretsu am Klavier, Melanie Streitmatter am Bass und Jacob Wagener am Schlagzeug besetzt ist, legt viel Wert auf ein Interplay, das die individuellen Klangfarben der Spielenden herausstellt. Eine delikate Balance von Stimme und Saxofon verwebt sich mit einer pulsierenden Rhythmusgruppe zu einem Sound, der mit jeder Note eine Geschichte erzählt, die das Publikum auf eine emotionale Reise durch die Welt des Jazz mitnimmt.
